I was a Director and Executive Producer at BuzzFeed, with over 5 billion views on my content. It was there that I learned how strongly a video's performance is directly tied to its edit. The quest for proficient editors became crucial in ensuring my content resonated with people, and achieved maximum reach.
Repeatedly, I found myself getting asked for recommendations on editors who “get it” - people who are good at telling story through video. Despite their remarkable skills, editors often find themselves without work last minute, due to the ever-changing landscape of the entertainment business.

How do I know your editors are experienced?
All of our editors have been referred by established brands or companies and go through an interview process conducted by an experienced editor on our team. They have worked for big name brands such as Disney+, BuzzFeed, Nosotros Tequila, and more — see our 'vetting process' above. If you have further questions, book a free strategy call below.
Do I work with my editor directly?
Not directly, no—you'll work with a dedicated Popcut project manager. Once you kick off a project, your Popcut project manager will schedule a call to align on your goals, style, and timeline. From there, we handle everything behind the scenes—keeping you updated and collecting feedback at key milestones, without you ever needing to manage an editor directly.
Who is a Popcut Project Manager?
Your Popcut project manager is your personal concierge and secret creative weapon—an experienced producer who's helped shape top-tier brand content, viral videos, and high-performing social campaigns. (Think: Netflix, Adidas, and Red Bull.) You get this level of talent included in your project at no extra cost. They'll run your project from start to finish—handling timelines, feedback, and revisions—so you can stay focused on the big picture, while we make sure the work gets done right.
What if I want the same editing team across different projects?
For recurring projects, that will be arranged. For one-off projects, as long as that project manager and editor has availability, we can definitely accommodate. Our team is in high demand, so availability may change.
Do you supply music?
Popcut does not include music or sound libraries, but we can add this on for you for an additional fee. You will need to make sure it is properly licensed for whatever you plan to use the video for.
What if I'm not happy with my video?
If you're not happy with your first video, you'll get a full refund. We're confident in our work, and we want you to be genuinely excited about what we've made.
Do you offer videography and camera work as well?
We specialize in video editing services only, but due to popular demand, we are considering launching a boutique Popcut Productions studio. If that is of interest to you, please make your interest known on a call!
